FEDERAL COURT ENTERS $6bn JUDGMENT AGAINST TERRORIST ORGANISATIONS IN 9/11 CASE

A Federal judge in the principal 9/11 civil suit has entered a six billion dollar judgment against the Taliban, Hezbollah, Al-Qaeda, and several Iranian entities, as well as certain  non-state actors. The judgment took into account physical destruction, deaths and injuries, suffered as the result of the 9/11 terrorist attacks.

The breakdown of the $6,048,513,805 was as  follows:

(1) Punitive Damages:   $ 4,686,235,921
(2) Pain & Suffering            844,000,000
(3) Economic Damages       394,277,884
