While the passage of time may have reduced the probability that this old terrorist, and others like him, will be easily recognized by tellers and officers at international banks, all compliance officers should be familiar with the tools available to them to identify known fugitive terrorists at account opening, for they will boldly come into your bank, believing that they will not be identified; Remain alert and know where to seek out information on terrorist and terrorist financiers, lest you be fooled.
