IDENTITY OF PRINCIPAL PLAYER IN MASSIVE FRAUD INVOLVING THE IMPERSONATION OF THE FOREIGN MINISTER OF FRANCE REMAINS A MYSTERY

 The identity of the individual who successfully and repeatedly impersonated Jean Yves le Drian, the Foreign Minister of France, in the "Envoy Especial" fraud, remains unknown to law enforcement authoreities in both France and Israel. We have previously reported on the scam*, which involved contacting wealthy businessmen, and asking for money to pay alleged ransom demands, involving ISIS detention of French nationals. There were no individuals being held for ransom, and the fraudsters pocketed millions of Euros. They are all said to be dual nationals of France and Israel.

Named to date are the other fraudsters in the criminal operation, which reportedly has yielded €80m:

This far, only conspiracy, forgery, impersonation and obstruction of justice charges have been brought, though money laundering would appear to be proper. Who is the mystery man who donned a special mask and impersonated the Foreign Minister of France ?
