NG LAP SENG'S U.S. SUPREME COURT BRIEF FEATURES ISSUES ALREADY WELL SETTLED

The billionaire Chinese businessman NG LAP SENG's attorneys have filed the Reply Brief of Petitioner in their quest to reverse his criminal conviction for Bribery and FCPA. There's nothing new in the brief; it rehashes the old issues he lost on at the Second Circuit; that the Bribery statute does not apply to organizations like the United Nations, that the actions of UN executives involving the bribes were not "Official Acts,"  and that this is a case of great public interest, as it will impact federal anti-corruption prosecutions.

We shall update our readers when the Supreme Court decision on whether to take the case is rendered.
