WHY FELIX SATER NEVER DID ANY PRISON TIME FOR HIS RICO CONVICTION

Felix Sater, Advisor to Donald Trump
The case style is United States of America vs.John Doe, Case No.: 10-2905 (2nd Cir. 2011), which is an appeal of a trial court order restricting the dissemination of information regarding Felix Sater's sealed RICO case. Sater was engaged, over a 10-year period, as a Confidential Informant, at the end of which he was sentenced to only Probation and a $25,000 fine. Would you like to know why ?

The Memorandum of Law, filed by the US Attorney for the Eastern District of New York, together with two transcripts of hearings, details what Sater did to avoid prison:

(1) He traveled repeatedly to the Middle East to obtain information for the FBI.
(2) He passed US intelligence agencies highly sensitive information about terrorists (Al Qaeda) and rogue states.
(3) He provided information about La Cosa Nostra and Russian organized crime.

This information was provided both prior to, and after, the events of 9/11/2001. Readers who wish to review the original memorandum, and hearing transcripts, 192 pages, can access it here.
