One of the individuals, from a family that claim to be the victims of massive theft of real estate from probate proceedings, has released the above lawyers list. Whilst we understand it is not to be considered to be complete, it constitutes most of the attorneys who were involved in an estate matter, and who are being accused of misconduct, regarding their professional actions.
A number of them allegedly accepted substantial attorneys' fees to represent heirs and claimants, but never performed any of the legal services that they were contracted to handle on behalf of the clients, who then were required to bring in yet more lawyers to do the same work; those lawyers, the victims claim, also accepted fees and failed to perform.
A third group has been accused of diverting real estate holdings of the estate to their own use and benefit, through fraudulent acts, some of which was supported by bad actors employed by the Government of Barbados, and who it is believed shared in the proceeds of crime.
