WILL THE POPE MEET WITH FATHER DAVID MUSCAT WHEN HE VISITS MALTA ?

Supporters of the controversial Father David Muscat want Pope Francis to meet with him when his Holiness visits Malta later this year. The supporters group, who have long followed the Father's crusade against official corruption in government in Malta, working through a third party whom they decline to name, seek a short meeting with the Pontiff, during his upcoming Papal Apostolic Journey.

They are working outside the Catholic Church in their quest to introduce the reformust priest to the Pope, as they assert that Malta's Archbishop Charles Scicluna opposes such a meeting. The Father's crusade against corruption has resulted in the filing of what what objectively appears to be a purely political criminal charge against him, in a transparent attempt to silence his voice for reform and peaceful change.

We have been advised that, for security reasons, any decision of the Vatican on the request for an audience whilst the Pope is holding meetings in Malta, will not be revealed, to prevent an unmanageable crowd of onlookers from learning of the venue, and flooding the location with tourists. Father's supporters have confirmed that they will not disclose any further details until after the meeting, if it takes place, occurs in Malta.
