The Supreme Court of New Jersey, in a ruling* that is contrary to most Federal court decisions, State of New Jersey vs. Joseph Diorio, has held that money laundering is an continuing offense. To quote the decision:
" The charge of money laundering is a continuing offense for the purposes of the Statute of Limitations, but only when the record contains evidence of successive acts that facilitate and promote the common scheme to defraud."
