Malta's Gahans, that country's version of Trump supporters, complete with blind faith in their king, the Il Duce/Boy George hybrid Joseph Muscat, have placed him at the top of the country's football structure. Betting on Maltese sports, after fixing the outcome of games, appears to constitute business as usual in that Mafia-controlled country, the Bad Boy of the European Union.
The elevation of the disgraced and defrocked Muscat leaves no doubt in the minds of the Members of the European Parliament as to who rules the diminutive, but utterly corrupt, nation, where the Maltese Mafia rule with impunity, a loose association of wealthy businessmen, career criminals, and sleazy politicians with their hands out, bribing their way into staying in power.
Perhaps Global Warming will succeed in doing what nobody else is able to perform, suppressing the rampant corruption that has infected Muscat's personal fiefdom, allowing the islands to sink below the waves, please. Call it Saint Peter's Revenge, a modern day version of Sodom and Gomorrah, causing all the gamblers and other sinners to drown, whilst their pockets are bulging with the proceeds of crime, making them unable to remain afloat.
