The Solicitor General's Office has filed its Brief in Opposition to R Allen Stanford's petition for a Writ of Certiorari in Stanford's criminal case. He was convicted in US District Court in Texas, and that conviction and sentence was affirmed by the 5th Circuit Court of Appeals.
Unfortunately, unless the Supreme Court grants cert, the briefs of the high court are not publicly available online. If Certiorari is denied, which is the general expectation, we shall advise our readers.
