The Affidavit, executed by Dubai attorney CHRISTOPHER DARWIN GUNSON, in support of the §1782 proceeding filed in the Southern District of New York, notes that a legal proceeding was being planned for filing, by the victim, in the UAE, against the Prime Minister of Antigua & Barbuda, GASTON BROWNE, and persons associated with him in the alleged USD$10m theft of Yacht sales proceeds. It further contemplates criminal action against PM Browne, pursuant to UAE law.
