HIS SECRET MEETING IN SAINT LUCIA WITH HILAIRE AND CARIBBEAN GALAXY EXPOSED, CONSULTANT HARTLEY HENRY THREATENS LITIGATION

If you read our recent article, AS CALLS FOR HIS RESIGNATION INCREASE, SAINT LUCIA'S DEPUTY PRIME MINISTER ERNEST HILAIRE'S RELATIONSHIP WITH CONTROVERSIAL BARBADOS POLITICAL CONSULTANT AND FIXER HARTLEY HENRY COME UNDER SCRUTINY,* you may also want to know that Mr. Henry, in an email to this blogger yesterday, protested the fact that the meeting had been the subject of a media story, and demanded it be deleted from the Internet. His exact words were "This is my formal request to take down the article. If you don’t, I will proceed with a defamation case against you."

You will notice that he did not deny that the meeting took place. If Mr. Henry chooses to avail himself of whatsoever legal remedies that may be available to him in Saint Lucia, that is his right, but truth is still, and always will be, an absolute defense to any action for libel, slander or defamation in that jurisdiction.
