AS CALLS FOR HIS RESIGNATION INCREASE, SAINT LUCIA'S DEPUTY PRIME MINISTER ERNEST HILAIRE'S RELATIONSHIP WITH CONTROVERSIAL BARBADOS POLITICAL CONSULTANT AND FIXER HARTLEY HENRY COME UNDER SCRUTINY

A mysterious, private meeting, between Saint Lucia's beleaguered Deputy Prime Minister, ERNEST HILAIRE, and the well-known Barbados political adviser, HARTLEY HENRY, occurred recently in Saint Lucia at the appropriately named STOLEN TIME HOTEL, which is near government offices. Our sources have confirmed that a representative of the CARIBBEAN GALAXY GROUP was also in attendance at that meeting. Hartley has been linked to what have been referred to as hidden financial transactions between Hilaire and Galaxy.

Given that Galaxy sold Saint Lucia CIP citizenships & passports under the minimum legal price, the issue of whether all such financial transactions between the parties to that meeting, which reportedly involve US Dollars, constitute violations of America's Money Laundering Control Act. Hartley is no stranger to controversy, both in his native Barbados, as well as elsewhere in the East Caribbean, especially the Commonwealth of Dominica, where he has served as an unofficial advisor to Prime Minister ROOSEVELT SKERRIT, who has been the subject of claims of corruption for years.

The appearance of Hartley, with the other players in the unfolding Saint Lucia CIP scandal, could indicate that there is a much wider, East Caribbean, aspect to the illegal sale of discounted SLC citizenships. What exactly his role is in Saint Lucia will now come to the attention of elements in that country who are demanding to know the whole truth about their CIU, and Hilaire's culpability in fraud, money laundering and corruption.
