| Skerrit: asleep at his post? |
Dominican citizenships are reportedly selling in Syria for as little as USD$45,000, amidst serious financial problems by the country's leading CBI consultancy, MMCE. Corruption involving the company is also a major problem. To make matters worse, Montreal Management's disputes with the Government of Dominica have flared up again, and their legal proceedings, once paused, are again active. Airport construction, funded solely by CBI, is having problems. What's the solution?
While all this chaos swirls around his country, Dominica's ineffective Prime Minister, ROOSEVELT SKERRIT, practices spin control through press conference doubletalk that accomplishes nothing, and leaves Dominicans still without a correspondent bank for their CBI, terminated visa-free access to the UK for their passport holders, and severe visa restrictions for the US that amount to a complete lack of access to America for Dominicans.
What problem will befall Dominica next? Who can say, but since the proverbial buck stops at Skerrit's door, what does he plan to do with all these issues?
