HOW USING A CBI PASSPORT INCREASES YOUR PERSONAL RISK

Much is being said recently in the press about minimizing risk when a consumer applies for Citizenship by Investment; ensuring that you are not unwittingly paying an unscrupulous agent who offers you a "deal" which is an actually an illegally reduced rate; facing price increase, processing time and waiting period changes that could occur whilst your application is pending, the loss of EU, UK or other country visa-free access through subsequent government action, and the outside chance that the program itself may be terminated by government before you physically acquire that much-desired passport. These are all untoward events that might happen during the application process, and which the investment migration industry is now known to be warning clients could possibly happen.

The problem is that there are much darker possibilities which could befall you after you are handed that precious CBI passport, and which could result in increased personal risks that you did not bargain for, and definitely do not want.

In truth and in fact, all five Caribbean CBI-selling states have sold passports to fraudsters, sanctions, evaders, career criminals, and even foreign intelligence agents from China, which places you in the same category as these lawbreakers. When you arrive at an international airport of entry somewhere, and present your CBI passport, you run the risk of being interrogated, having your bags and baggage examined, and even denied entry for some bureaucratic excuse, such as recently happened to St. Kitts and Dominica CBI passport holders in Norway.

If you do gain entry somewhere, and attempt to open a bank account, if they recognize you as a CBI passport holder at compliance, due to your place of birth, the officer may file the local equivalent of a Suspicious Activity Report, alerting domestic law enforcement. My most serious fear is that you come to the attention of a major law enforcement agency, when you enter a jurisdiction already burned by criminals employing a CBI passport, and be thereafter stigmatized, monitored, or observed, and that status is communicated to other law enforcement agencies abroad. I have had the experience of having a virtual bull's-eye painted on my profile, and I do not wish it upon anyone who only wants visa-free entry to travel.

Therefore, you are advised to consult with a competent attorney, experienced in the world of CBI and immigration, before you decide to acquire an economic citizenship, and employ the passport you receive for international travel, identification at financial institutions, and residency at your new nationality. Seek legal advice before diving in to these dangerous legal waters, please.
