DID ANTIGUA'S PRIME MINISTER GASTON BROWNE ORDER THE PLUNDER OF BILLIONS OF DOLLARS IN OLD MASTERS KEPT ON A LUXURY YACHT OWNED BY THE FAMILY OF A RUSSIAN OLIGARCH?

There is a major, but as yet unreported, aspect of the controversial seizure by the Government of Antigua, of the Russian-owned luxury yacht ALPHA NERO, which has been the subject of litigation* in several different countries, including the United States. It was only mentioned in passing in the Discovery proceedings currently pending in U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida, entitled: In Re GASTON BROWNE CORRUPTION DISCOVERY APPLICATION,(Case No:. 25-CV-21129) and referred to there only as "onboard artwork."

In truth and in fact, the Alpha Nero was known to carry in its cargo a number of extremely valuable works of art, including some which we refer to as Old Masters, and which are said to be worth billions of dollars. Held by a trust formed by a reputed Russian oligarch, for estate planning and other tax reasons, with his children being the sole beneficiaries, they are reportedly fully insured. Those of our sources that have actually worked on board the vessel have confirmed their existence onboard in the past.

Given the total lack of verified information on the location of this treasure trove of priceless art, during the period in which the yacht was seized and then sold, under suspicious circumstances by the Government of Antigua, and at all times since, we must conclude that, under the specific orders of Prime Minister Gaston Browne, the artwork was covertly and illegally removed, and transferred to his exclusive care, custody and control. We know that It wasn't on the yacht when it was sold, or the sales price would have been astronomical. 

This action, which most likely will be called one of the largest art thefts in history, when the value of the items stolen is assessed, is probably the principal reason for such zealous civil litigation by the daughter of the Oligarch, who claims sole ownership of the yacht, and whose counsel has taken extraordinary steps, in a number of courts, seeking Discovery against PM Browne and his associates and entities.
