The threat of the as yet unfiled third major American indictment of the individuals and financial institutions that ALEX SAAB MORAN employed to clean and move millions of dollars of narco- and corruption profits for NICOLAS MADURO's criminal enterprise, reportedly has the targets on edge, both in Caracas as well as St. John's. While the sitting Labour Party government struggles to maintain superficially friendly relationships with the Trump Administration, senior officials from that party, both in and out of government, are known to be on tenterhooks, as they await the expected actions of the US Department of Justice.
There are, unfortunately. zero clues regarding the extent of cooperating testimony, which must surely be in progress, on behalf of Saab Moran, as Grand Jury proceedings are secret under the law, and there is a policy of declining any public announcement of pending investigations. The DOJ only speaks through indictments, which clearly worries the individuals who were involved in the money movement under Saab's direction will have to wait for the axe to fall.
