CHINA EXPANDS ITS EDUCATIONAL, CULTURAL, SOCIAL, AND LINGUISTIC INFLUENCE IN THE EASTERN CARIBBEAN; TO WHAT END?

These are photographs taken during one of China's many cultural events in the Eastern Caribbean; in this case, a function at the Chinese Embassy in Antigua, given for local summer camp children. Note how Many phases ofChinese culture are presented to impressionable students, in an total immersion into all things China, with an overriding agenda of the superiority of Chinese culture. All over the Eastern Caribbean states, China continues to expend its soft power through cultural exchanges, whilst making huge loans to small island nations whose limited economies will most likely not be able to repay them back timely, resulting in China being able to acquire hard assets such as port facilities, in a region which has significant strategic value to China in its rivalry with the United States and the western democracies. 

As Chinese influence continues to expand, we are seeing the construction of extremely large Chinese embassies and consulates, which far exceed the normal needs of trade and commerce with small island nations, and are suspected of being used a covert surveillance operations centers, focusing upon communication within America, and its military efforts abroad and within the Continental United States.
