UNDERSTANDING HOW MONEY LAUNDERERS WORK

Given the comments that I have received to a number of my recent articles on how money launderers use Trade-Based Money Laundering , which lead me to believe that there is a knowledge gap, I have decided to offer a private virtual lecture that will explain how professional money launderers operate, how they create new methods and techniques, how they access resources, and how they employ variations on existing typologies to defeat compliance officers who don't have a deep understanding of the money launderer's process, goals and most important, his underlying culture.

I was a career money launderer for a decade, and also worked with several other money launderers during that period. later, as a compliance officer and gatekeeper, I identified, in real time, money launderer attempting to penetrate a major investment firm with an international clientele.
