PHILIPPE MARTINEZ: THERE WILL BE ADDITIONAL ST. LUCIA DEFENDANTS ADDED TO THE RICO LAWSUIT FOR CBI FRAUD

MSR Media's PHILIPPE MARTINEZ, in an extensive live interview appearing on St. Lucia television this evening, advised that the RICO complaint, alleging the sale of illegally discounted Citizenship by Investment (CBI) passports, and that the sales proceeds were transferred to China, will be amended shortly. The Amended Complaint, in the case presently pending in US District Court in Florida, shall include a number of additional St. Lucia defendants, including some holding positions in government. They will be added due to the receipt of additional evidence and witness information received since the RICO action was filed.

After explaining how a Chinese company (Galaxy) received thousands of investment units from both St. Kitts and St. Lucia authorities, resulting in tens of thousands of passports that Galaxy sold inside China, Martinez detailed how the proceeds were illegally transferred, through the US banking system, and "infecting it" with the proceeds of crime ( money laundering), as it passed to accounts in China, depriving the people of the Caribbean with the passport sales funds.

Mr. Martinez, who has alleged in the lawsuit that defendants in the RICO suit, who have invested their criminal profits around the world, also said that they are now quite busy moving their assets, seeking to make their seizure, whether during the pending litigation or by law enforcement action, more difficult. Compliance officers on the UAE might want to take a close look at any significant accounts where there has been major activity.

We shall be reviewing the Amended Complaint in detail when it is expected to be filed next week, and report back to our readers on all new developments, in a case that has roiled the Caribbean Citizenship by Investment sector, which must now enact meaningful reforms, and subject prior bad actors to accountability for their sins, if it wants to survive in a Truth or Dare world which has lost patience with its corruption.
