MALTA CRUCIFIES A PRIEST, WHILST MONEY LAUNDERERS RUN RAMPANT WITH IMPUNITY

Some of Europe's biggest money launderers are free to conduct their dirty business in Malta, but at the same time, the Government's most dangerous alleged criminal, a Catholic priest, is persecuted by  a Labour Party obsessed with reducing the influence of the Church. Father Luke Seguna was charged with money laundering in Malta last month. He allegedly took a half-million Euros from his parishioners' donations to the Church, over a period of a decade. In addition to the laundering charged, it is alleged that he committed Fraud, Preparation of a False Public Deed, and Using a Falsified Document. Was he deliberately overcharged ?

 Whether he is a Public Enemy is doubtful, but it appears that he was not accorded the respect of his position whilst in custody, and the local government-influenced media has portrayed him as a Danger to Society. The media are also playing a nasty role in all this, with sensational reporting, alleging that the Father has been watching pornography, though that was not the testimony had in court at his hearing.

We note how efficient the Malta Police are, all of a sudden proceeding on a small money laundering and misappropriation case.It is yet another show of force against the Maltese Catholic Church by Labour, just because he is a well-known and liked priest. Labour has a long history regarding the offences it committed against the Church in the past, due in part to the fact that Church teachings frown upon its darker practices.

The real issues here are intentionally bening overlooked; the real criminals, like Joseph Muscat and Keith Schembri, continue to do as they please with complete impunity, unlike the Father, who is being crushed by the authorities and the media, under Labour's instructions.
