There has been a ruling on the rule 53 violation complaints. The trial judge in the Alex Saab Moran case has ordered the defendant to appear in person for all future hearings in which his presence is required. There will be no more Zoom broadcasts of virtual appearances of the defendant.
The Court also ordered the United States Attorney's office to investigate all journalists who allegedly engaged in illegal copying and broadcast of Saab's prison image.
