As expected, the attorneys for convicted Iranian businessman, sanctions evader, and Pilatus Bank owner/director Ali Sadr Hashemi Nejad have moved for a Judgment of Acquittal, or in the alrternative, a New Trial, and for other unspecified relief. We shall be reviewing and reporting upon their argument, and comment upon the relevance to citations to legal authorities in support of the motion, which we understand is included in a memorandum of law that exceeds one hundred pages.
