Juan Carlos Varela, the current President of the Republic of Panama, has revoked and nullified all the pardons granted by his immediate predecessor, Ricardo Martinelli, asserting that they were not entered in accordance the law of the Republic. If any of these individuals is holding certified copies of their pardons, they are void, and of no effect; do not accept them as evidence that the felony conviction of the holder has been nullified.
Here are the names of the individuals. You might want to ascertain whether they are your bank clients, since many are PEPs, and they all have felony convictions:
