SOUTH CHINA SEA DISPUTE: FOOD FOR THOUGHT



I see in today's FT that a 1974 version of this painting is offered by Dreweatts Bloomsbury. It is titled Mao Entering New York Harbour. Those who think China's actions in the South China Sea dispute does not betray further territorial ambitions,  kindly note that the original of this work was completed in 1932, by the Icelandic artist, ErrĂ³.
